Kenneth LeRoy Perry Jr., a proud veteran and devoted family man, passed away on December 24, 2024, in West Valley City, Utah, at the age of 77.
Born on November 30, 1947, Kenneth served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he dedicated his life to driving semi-trucks, a career he pursued with passion and commitment.
Kenneth was married to Lana Ruth Roach Perry on 1/21/1972, and together they raised four children: Alisha (Larry), Scott, Frank (Kristin), and Fred (Crystal). He was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. Known for his sharp wit and legendary sense of humor, Kenneth's dad jokes were cherished by all who knew him. The Best Brother, Husband, Father, and Papa anyone could ask for.
He is survived by his loving wife Lana; his children Alisha and Frank; his sisters Therese (Blair), Lin, and Jennifer (Paul); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Kenneth Sr.; his brother Neil; and his sons Scott and Fred.
A viewing will be held on January 7, 2025, at McDougal Mortuary, located at 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Utah, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the viewing, services will be held at 11:00 a.m. followed by a military graveside ceremony at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park at 17111 South 1700 West in Bluffdale to honor Kenneth's life and service to his country.
Kenneth's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
