Kenneth W. Ellett The Greatest Man We Know Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Kenneth William Ellett, was peacefully called home on Friday, September 23, 2011. Born July 13, 1925 to Albert H. And Florence Rowe Ellett. Married his sweetheart, Lenore Hurst, in the Logan LDS Temple on July 3, 1946. Served in the Navy during WWII and National Guard. Graduated from the University of Utah. Retired from Hill Air Force Base after 38 years of service. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many positions. One of his favorites was teaching Gospel Doctrine. He filled a temple mission and was very involved in genealogy. His hobbies included playing cards and dominos, doing crossword puzzles and crypt-o-grams, traveling and stamp collecting. He loved all sports, Dr. Pepper and eating shrimp. He was a school teacher and could often be found helping his posterity with their math. We will all miss his jokes, laughs and cheesy grin. He was loving, caring and Christ-like. One of the best examples in our life. Survivors include his wife, Lenore; children: Suzanne (Ron) Veazie, Kae (Rikk) Davis, Mark (Evelyn), Floree (Val) Jenkins, and Franceen (Ken) Gates, daughter-in-law, Leigh Woodward; 32 grandchildren and 79 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings: Walter Bud Ellett and Jeanne Parks. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Anne and son David. Special thanks and gratitude to Kae for her loving care and to CNS and hospice, especially Janna and Lisa and the VA Hospital Homecare.
