Donald Kent Sjoberg passed away in his home on January 21, 2025, due to heart complications.
Kent was born on February 24, 1968, to Lynda Peart and Don Sjoberg. He grew up in Bountiful, Utah with his twin sisters Kym and Lisa.
Kent was the best dad, grandpa, son, brother, and friend. He was always there when anyone needed him. He was extremely smart, talented, and had the biggest heart. He loved a challenge - if he couldn't fix something, he would build something even better.
He spent most of his life working with windows and doors and later found his way back to the courier and logistics industry.
Kent loved to travel and explore the world. But he was happiest being outdoors - whether it was camping, fishing, or just working in the yard or his garage. He was a collector of a lot of things - he loved antiques, shoes, hats, and he always managed to find beauty and value in the most odd things.
Kent had the goofiest and most infectious personality. He always loved to make people smile even if he had to make a fool of himself (which he was never embarrassed to do). He was so outgoing and would make friends everywhere he went and I know he will be missed dearly.
We will be celebrating his life on February 1, 2025, from 5-8 pm at The Gathering Hall by McDougal Funeral Home located at 4306 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah -- the new white building on the north of McDougal's property.
