Salt Lake City, Utah—Kim Morelli passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2021. He was born on February 27, 1958, in Salt Lake City to Kenneth Keith Morelli and Emogene Rita Morelli. He married Mary Sue Pilcher 43 years ago and they have four beautiful children, Emmie (Brady Stanger), Michael, Nick and Tommy (Paige).
He is survived by his loving wife Mary; four children; seven grandchildren, Dominick, Vinni, Easton, and Kenny Morelli, and Bo, Ruby and Harper Stanger; three sisters, Candie VanderMeyden (John), Debbie Thornton (Mike) and Sherri Smith (Rick); two nieces, Andrea VanderMeyden and Melissa Foust (Trevor); and two nephews, Aaron and Adam Smith.
Preceded in death by his mother; and father; and nephews, Devin and Landon Smith.
He graduated from West High School and was a devoted employee of Dominion Energy (Questar) for the past 40 years. Kim enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing, hunting and at his cabin in Tabiona. Kim will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT 84123. The viewing will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by the service from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, following the service.
