Kim N. Garff

Kim N. Garff 1954 ~ 2013 Our beloved father, son and brother, Kim N. Garff passed away September 25, 2013 at his home in West Jordan, Utah, after an illness. He was born January 30, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Newell K and Shirley Erekson Garff. Attended schools in the Holladay area graduating from Olympus High School in 1972. Attended the University of Utah, where he was on the President's Honor Roll, graduating with degrees in Political Science and Economics. Served an LDS mission in Northern Italy, being among the first missionaries to serve in that area. Married Teresa Sundberg in the LDS Temple, later divorced. Worked at Zion's Bank as a Vice President of the Commercial Loan Division. Kim had many interests including his love for art, paintings and sculpture. He is survived by one son, Taylor S. Garff of Idaho Falls, ID; parents; two sisters, Shauna K. Parry and Lorna M. (Jim) Gochis, both of Taylorsville, UT. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 30, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street. Viewings will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East and Monday from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the graveside services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
