Krystal Marie Brown Lamoreaux

Our Angel, Krystal Lamoreaux, age 50, passed away on April 15, 2015. Krystal was born August 12, 1964 in Missoula, Montana to Albert (Ace) Brown and Karen McLean Brown and was the oldest of four children. Krystal was married on November 27, 1999 to the love of her life Bryan Lamond Lamoreaux "Star Boy" in Las Vegas, Nevada. Krystal and Bryan are loving parents of five outstanding sons. In 2012 Krystal realized her dream to own and operate a business with her sister-in-law, Kris, Healthy Pets Mountain-West following a career at Kern River Gas Transmission. Krystal graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Englewood, Colorado where she was a standout student-athlete and a top performer in track and field. Krystal attended and graduated from Arizona State University in 1987 with a bachelors degree. During her time at ASU, she was very active in her sorority "Pi Beta Phi" and has remained in close contact over the years with many of her special sorority sisters. Following graduation Krystal was selected to be an event coordinator for the famous Fiesta Bowl. Afterwards, Krystal moved to California and pursued a career in the fashion industry where she had the opportunity to travel the world. Krystal enjoyed family vacations at the Oregon, California and Mexico beaches where she took pleasure in teaching her boys, niece, and nephews how to dive under the waves, ride a surf board, and slide down sand dunes. She also loved family vacations in the wonderful mountains of Montana where she enjoyed Georgetown Lake and floating the Big Hole River with her boys. In the summer of 2006, she accomplished the strenuous hike to the top Mt. Haggin (10,600 ft.) with Bryan, her dad, and sister, Alisha. Krystal's favorite vacation spot was Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where she had many cherished memories of snorkeling, kayaking to Lover's Beach, and spending time with her family. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with her mother, dad, brothers, husband, and sister-in-law. During a very special tournament competing with her mother, Krystal achieved every golfer's dream of getting a hole-in-one. Krystal is survived by her parents, husband, five children, Hunter, Jake, Trevor, Luke, and Lincoln, sister, Alisha (Mark) Severson, Perth, Australia; brother Deuce (Brenda) Brown, Lima, Peru; brother Morgan (Nara) Brown, Tucson, Arizona; sister-in-law Kris Lamoreaux; mother-in-law Linda Lamoreaux and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. All will miss her bright smile, infectious laugh, fun loving personality, and nurturing soul. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment- Fairview City Cemetery, Fairview, Utah.
