LaMon Andrew Lott, of Kearns, Utah, passed away August 12, 2014. He was born May 29, 1932 in Ucon, Idaho, to David Alonzo and Ruby Anderson Lott. LaMon had nine brothers and two sisters. He married Norma Jean Humes August 27, 1954 in Duschene, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. LaMon served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He later served in the US Air Force. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in which he served in many callings including bishop. He was an avid writer of family and personal histories, and loved to play the harmonica. LaMon retired from Utah Power & Light in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Norma; son, LaRonzo (Jolene) Lott; daughters, Cindy (Jon) Kline, Ruby (Randy) Privett and Janet Roberts Lott. Preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; son, Joseph Lott; and granddaughter, Amber Kline. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at the Kearns 21st Ward, 5740 South 4270 West. Viewings will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S.
