Lance Terry Wilkerson

Lance Terry Wilkerson was born in Duchesne, UT on July 28, 1950. He was a studious child and enjoyed extracurricular activities , such as basketball and being the yearbook editor. He graduated from Duchesne High School in 1968 before completing an LDS mission to Vancouver, Canada and Alaska, United States. He was a proud graduate of the second class of Brigham Young University Law School and spent time practicing in Duchesne and Vernal, UT before moving to Salt Lake City with his family. Lance was an intelligent man, who had a love of history and reading. He was outgoing and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and stories with anyone who would listen. An avid sports fan, he was particularly enthusiastic about the success of the Duchesne High School team. He is survived by his mother; three brothers; four children; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; sister; brother; and nephew. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at the LDS Church, 1510 W. Parliament Avenue (3940 S.), where a gathering will be held prior to services from 10-10:45 a.m. His ashes will be laid to rest in the Duchesne Cemetery on May 25th.
