Landon Briggs

July 4, 2000 — March 28, 2025

It is with profound sorrow that we announce our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Landon Ronald Briggs, returned to his heavenly home on March 28, 2025. Landon joined our family on July 4, 2000, the second of four children born to Colby and Cindy Briggs. From the moment he entered our lives, Landon was an unending source of imagination and creativity. His infectious smile and fun-loving nature brought us tremendous joy.

Landon loved spending time with family. Whether it was going to watch a movie or playing games, he was always a willing participant. He especially loved "bro time" with his siblings, including his sister, because, as he would say, "she's my bro, too!" His relationships were very important to him, and he enjoyed gathering his friends around him. He often planned events that would bring them together and eagerly awaited each opportunity to be surrounded by those closest to him.

Working as a security officer brought Landon a sense of accomplishment and pride. He loved his job and was often recognized for his hard work, diligence, and attention to detail. He was recently promoted to team supervisor and looked forward to this new challenge. He was also very proud of his sobriety and the lessons he learned throughout his struggle. He was very strong and fought hard to find peace. He put tremendous effort into his recovery and his vulnerability and courage through his trials was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.

Landon was a deep thinker and wise beyond his years. He enriched every conversation in which he participated and brought new insights and perspective that benefited those around him. He was incredibly sensitive and seemed to easily perceive when others were struggling, and never hesitated to give of himself to lift a friend in need. He gave his all to those he loved, and our lives are forever blessed because of our time with him.

He is survived by his parents, Colby and Cindy Briggs; siblings, Jordan, Tanner, and Eden; grandparents, Ron and Ann Briggs, Vicki Pfeifer; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Pfeifer.
