Laura was reunited in heaven with her Mother and Father and other loved ones on Dec. 11, 2013 after a courageous struggle with illness. Laura was born on January 13, 1946 to Albert Christensen and Esther Nielsen in Delta, UT. Soon after her family "relocated" their house to Oak City where she lived until she was 18. After moving to Salt Lake she met Ken Flitton. Laura and Ken were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept 6, 1968 and have been on various trips ever since. Laura loved to surround herself with family and tried to attend everything that both immediate and extended were involved in. Laura was an avid gardener; played volleyball, and was a great seamstress. She had many callings as she served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was even called on a mission with her eternal companion Ken, which was cut short due to her illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother (Myron), sister (Verona), and awaits the time to be united once again with her family still on earth: Husband (Ken), Children Lori (Daniel), Wayne (Rebecca), Suzette, Derick (Julie), Kendal (Holly), Angela (Cally), and 21 grandchildren.
