Lee George Ellis passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 14, 2015. Born March 8, 1927, in Bountiful, Utah, to Merlin S. and Echo M. Barber Ellis. Hewas sealed to Faye Chaille Baggett in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 19, 1948; they were married 64 years. He later married Dona J. Harding Price on July 12, 2013, inBrigham City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; wives; sisters, Bonnie Pryor and Dorothy Lindsey; and brothers, Glen Ellis and Stephen Ellis. He is survived by his children, Judy (Terry) Hamblin, Pamla (David) Carr, Glenda (Gordon) Archibald, David (Paula) Ellis, Faye (Ralph) Facundo, Daniel (Annette) Ellis, Chay (Cal) Roberts, and Mindy (Kevin) Koplin; and siblings, Rosemary Wilson and Robert (Mary) Ellis. Lee lived life as an adventure; starting his own steel fabrication business and farming in Gusher, Utah, Burley, Idaho, and Fielding, Utah. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Counting 32 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren as some of his greatest blessings. He has fond memories of growing up in Palmyra, New York, on the Joseph Smith Farm, serving a mission in Tonga with Chaille, serving in the Logan LDS Temple, and traveling with Dona. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family wishes to thank all those who were so kind to him at the Hunter Hollow Care Center. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, in Taylorsville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Fielding LDS Stake Center, 4375 West 15600 North, in Fielding, Utah.
