Lee Wayne Mortensen 1937 ~ 2013 Born January 30, 1937 in Murray, Utah. Passed away April 19, 2013 in St. George, Utah of cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Wilmont Mortensen and Clara Wilhelmine Popp; 3 brothers (Robert, James & Ray); 2 sisters ( Bonnie & Patsy) and son Kenny (stillborn). Survived by his eternal companion, Betty (married May 21, 1956 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple), son Lynn (Gwen); daughters, Wendy & Penny (David); 4 sisters Lawana (Duane deceased), Phyllis (Don deceased), Peggy (Jim), Ilene (Alan); 3 brothers Dale (Rita deceased), Dick (Lorie), Mark (Wendy); 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grand children and many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on April 23, 2013, 6-8:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Funeral Home, 110 S. Bluff Street, St. George, Utah and a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral on April 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morningside Stake Center, 881 S. River Road in St. George. There will also be a Funeral Service Thursday, April 25, 2013 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah with a viewing 10-11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S. Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers, donations to the LDS Humanitarian Fund, 15 East South Temple 2E, Salt Lake City, Utah 84150 would be appreciated. Occupation:Chief Financial Officer
