Leo Glenn Knowles

Leo G. Knowles 1928 - 2013 Leo G Knowles, age 84, passed away June 18, 2013 in Murray Utah. He was born November 28, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roy and Lucille Knowles. He married Madelyn White June 29, 1955 in Winnemucca, Nevada. Leo Knowles was an amazing man ~ the world needs more men like Leo. He was kind, caring and generous. Leo could not bear to see someone in need and not share. All that knew him will say they are better because of him. He loved his beautiful wife Madelyn, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they where his life and reason for living. Heaven has received another angel tonight! The night sky another star!!! Grandpa Leo Knowles, our Superman, the man who would live forever. We love you and we ll miss you Gramps!!!! You are forever in our hearts and we will see you again!!! Survived by his wife, Madelyn; children: Sherry (Glade) Ely, Miles (Jenny) Kay Sr. and Terry (Pam) Kay; brother Charles Knowles; sister Pat Herold; 13 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Bud and Dave Knowles; son Dennis Kay. Viewing will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 , 9:00-10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So.
