Leola Murel Daniel fondly known as Ole died on the morning of April 8. After 95 years it was a struggle for her to stay in this life but also to let go. Born June 26, 1920 in Provo, Utah. Married Gilbert B. Daniel, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. After 58 years of marriage Gilbert passed away on October 31, 1997. Mom was an amazing lady and a pioneer in many ways. She started her 35 year career with the Rio Grande Railroad when living in Carbon County, Utah. After several years Mom was transferred and so in 1960 the family moved to Salt Lake. Mom had many friends over the years and had outlived many of them. It was thought that the key to a long life was being feisty with a heart of gold and that was our Mom. Survived by her daughter; Jenette, and son Roy, his spouse Kathy. If you could look up the definition of Grandma you would probably see "Ole". She loved her three grandchildren Jeremy, Jenifer and Julie and her six great grandchildren. Graveside services and Interment will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park. Viewing will be Sunday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Place of Birth:Provo, UT
