Leonard R. Ferguson Our loving father and grandfather, Leonard R. Ferguson, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Leonard was born February 21, 1928 in North Logan, Utah where he lived for 27 years. During this time he met and married Colleen Anderson, they have been married for 65 years. Dad worked as a carpenter and truck driver, but spent most of his life as a farmer. They moved to eastern Washington, near the Tri-Cities, in 1958 to homestead a farm. The family worked together on the farm for many years. Dad was a hard working man, spending many hours in the field or down in the shed. His kids were always welcome to tag along. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; 5 children: Jerry (Karen), Steve (Sue), David (Linda), Lynda (Jay), Laura (Luis); 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty (Don) and Donna Mae. A viewing will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the North Logan LDS Chapel, 1105 East 2100 North, Logan, UT. Grave side services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Paradise Cemetery, Paradise UT. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home, Taylorsville, UT.
