He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 18, 1926, son of the late Harry and Lucy Sessions. He met the love of his life, Donna Tall, on a blind date. They were married September 28, 1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, where they were sealed for time and all eternity. He served in the Navy from 07/27/1944-10/10/1946 and received an honorable discharge after his service in World War II. He worked at Kennecott copper mine and retired after 30 years of service. In retirement he took on small jobs at Winder Dairy and the LDS Church, but finally entered full retirement at 72. Leroy and Donna enjoyed traveling with their friends and family and loved to play pinochle a trick taking card game. Leroy was active in the LDS Church. He served in many callings, including the temple and a service mission with Donna at the LDS Church Cannery LeRoy is survived by his Wife of 66 years Donna Tall Sessions; his three children, Tom (Robbie) Sessions, Shari (Michael) Cannon, and Ron (Rick) Burbidge-Sessions. LeRoy leaves behind a legacy of 8 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dean Sessions; sisters, Beth Sessions and Vera Sessions; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Larsen and Horace Ludwig. The family would like to give special thanks to the LDS 25th Ward Relief Society, IHC Hospice and Right At Home in home health care.
