Lester Ervin Lewis Les Lester Ervin Lewis, age 62, was born August 3, 1950 in Monticello, Utah to William Lewis and Mary Hancock. Les passed away April 13, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. He worked for Salt Lake City School District Transportation for many years. His biggest passions were golf, camping, fishing, and an annual Cedar City trip with Dan Pendleton and other friends. He loved to serve others in any way possible and always found a way to make those around him laugh. He enjoyed music, baking, and entertaining with his sidekick, Sam. But his greatest passion in life was spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He left behind his beautiful wife, Tami, (married June 29, 2005); his kids Brian (Erin) Lewis, Cari (Jeremy) Dansie, Troy Lewis (Boo), Elly Navarro; and his grandkids CJay, Kaylie, Taylor, Audrey, Alexis, Kimberly, Collin, Aleah, and Aaren. He is survived by his mother; siblings Bill (Joy) Lewis, Loren (Anna) Lewis, Tim (Karen) Lewis, Diane Long, Naydeen Lamoreaux, and Christine (D.J.) Lewis; and close cousin, Laurie Edwards. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends as well. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Calvin. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, 12:00 noon at the Oquirrh LDS Stake Center, 5208 W. Cyclamen Way, West Jordan. The burial will follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, Taylorsville. A viewing will be held Friday, April 19, 2013, 6:00-8:00pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd., Taylorsville and before funeral services on Saturday, April 20, 2013, 11:00-11:45am. Flowers can be sent to McDougal Funeral Home by Friday, April 19, 10:00am.
