Lester Lyle Tippie 1929 ~ 2014 Lester Lyle Tippie, age 85 passed away October 30, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born February 19, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas. Son of Lester Tippie and Mae Eddith Snider. He married Beverly Louise Price, January 24, 1948, later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Survived by children, Linda, Robert & Keith; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Lester was the President of the Promontory Chapter-National Railway Historical Society for 42 years. A viewing will be held Monday, November 3, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
