Lewis Farr Smith 1946 ~ 2014 Lewis Farr Smith was born in Salt Lake City, Utah May 14, 1946 to Zella Farr and Joseph Fielding Smith, Jr. He passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was one of 9 children, a twin to his sister Louise, and the father of 5 daughters, all of whom he loved dearly. He was a kind, gentle, soul, gifted musician, blessed with the healer's art, and was proud to have served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war era. He has been welcomed back home by loving arms free from earthly trials and the confinement of a diseased, worn-out body, happy to walk again with loved ones. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife, Norma Runia; daughters: Veronica (Brent), Angel (Dave), Shannon ( Rion), Elizabeth (Jared), Amanda (James), his 8 brothers and sisters: Joseph (Carolyn), Diane (Holley), Lane (Val), Carolyn (David), Zella Jeanne (Rowen), Louise (Dan), Susan (Jim), and Richard (Linda); 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his divorced wife, Linda Aullman. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 11:00 a.m. at Mcdougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held Sunday, March 16, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also Monday, 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services also at McDougal Funeral Home. Interment: Camp Williams Cemetery.
