Lili Marlaene Ashwood, 62, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 19, 2016 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Lili was born on September 14, 1955 in Portland, Oregon to Patsy Ann Batchelor and Joseph Francis Fredrick Davidson. Growing up in a military family, Lili moved around a lot and she spoke fondly of many of those places, particularly Hawaii. She married her first husband, Doyle Foster, on April 25, 1975, and they raised five boys and one daughter: Charles Parrish (Tina), Lee Foster (Kat), Mathew Foster (Christie), Barbara Foster, Robert Foster (Teila), Jarrod Foster (Breana). Lili earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University while raising her children. She loved the opportunity that she had to stay at home and raise her children. Lili's hobbies included quilting, scrapbooking, and family history. She also enjoyed substitute teaching and working with disabled youth in the summer months. Lili was a caring, loving woman who had a special way of making everyone feel valued and needed. She always put the needs of others above her own by giving her heart and home to everyone. Lili married Richard Paul Ashwood Sr. On July 28, 2007 and they were sealed in the Bountiful Temple in 2010. Lili and Richard served a Family History Service Mission for the LDS Church. Lili is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Lee, Mathew, Robert, and Jarrod; her stepson Richard Paul Ashwood Jr; her stepdaughter Mandra Lynn Eubanks. She was preceded in death by her children Charles and Barbara. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the West Jordan Cemetery, 1300 West 7800 South, South Jordan, Utah. There will be a family luncheon to follow afterwards at Rick and Lili's church at 1845 East 7200 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Place of Birth:Portland, OregonPlace of Death:Cottonwood Heights, Utah
