Lillian Ellen Mantyla Andrew

Lillian Andrew 1931 ~ 2011 Lillian Ellen Mantyla Andrew, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Lillian was born October 23, 1931 to Walfred and Ellen Mantyla and spent her youth living on a farm in Taylorsville, Utah. She graduated from Granite High School in 1949 and that same year married Ronald Andrew. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Lillian was a loving mother to Tami (Gary) Fullmer, Linda (Paul) Gardner, Kirk (Lynnette) Andrew, Korey (Keith) Bethers and Sonja (Kurtis) Aoki. She loved her 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Vivian O Brien and Eileen Rich; brothers, Robert and Charles Mantyla. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wally; and grandson, Clark. Lillian loved her garden, sports of all kinds, attending the temple and supporting her family in all their many endeavors. We love you, dear Lillian, and look forward to being together again. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Riverview Ward Chapel, 4845 South Woodhaven Dr. (1335 W.). Friends may call Friday, July 29, 2011, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
