Lois Lucille Naylor Johnson passed away August 24, 2016, in her home, surrounded by family, leaving them as she found herself back in the arms of her eternal companion, John. She was born December 23, 1937, to William and Lois Naylor. She grew up in South Jordan and attended Jordan High School. On August 8, 1958, she married the love of her life, John Norman Johnson, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They made their home in Taylorsville where they raised their three children. Lucille will be remembered by numerous talents including candy making, quilting, sewing, and cooking. Though her true legacy will be the love she had and showed for others. Many people entered her house calling her "Lucille," but most left calling her "Mom" or "Grandma." She was truly a special lady with a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Susan (Jim) Brakey, Norman Johnson, and Terry (Kelly) Johnson; brother, Lee Naylor; grandchildren, Camille (Bryan) Grimshaw, Ryan Johnson, Travis Johnson, Brittnee (Tyler) Foote, Brandon Johnson, and Brooklyn Brakey; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Pauline Camomile, and Sally Johnson. A graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 27, at Taylorsville City Cemetery, 4500 South Redwood Road. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
