Lois Tonge McNeil

Lois Tonge McNeil, 89, passed away June 9th, after a long battle with dementia. She was a fighter to her last day. Born August 10, 1928 in Salt Lake City, she was the daughter of Vivian and Lawrence Tonge. She married John W. McNeil, who preceded her in death. She is survived by sons John (Lois), Michael (Leslie), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her son Harold, and daughters Rhonda and Tanya. She was retired from the State of Utah Motor Vehicle Division . After raising her kids she went back to school and received her high school diploma and a business degree. She was actively involved in Babe Ruth baseball, and worked in the cafeteria at Glendale Jr. High. She loved to paint and was active in the Relief Society and the Red Hat Ladies Society. "My family is my life". Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 13th, 1:00 p.m. at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, UT 84010.
