Loren Mervin Nelsen

It is with much regret and sorrow that I am announcing the passing of my husband, Loren, who was the best husband and beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son and brother.

He loved fishing, the great outdoors, his two truck buddies, Rosie (deceased) & Polly the honker. He loved driving and all of the places he had seen, but he loved to come home and see me and Cinder. We took many trips to Southern Utah; our favorite place to be. He felt at peace in the Red Rock Country. May I add he was a devoted Pittsburg Steelers fan!

Ok my love, rest well, sleep well, and I will be with you in a little while, maybe longer.

Survived by his wife Linda; son Cory Nelsen; daughter Darby Bailey; stepson, Russell Ortiz; stepdaughters Tammy Bartle and Joelene Cook; mother and father Anne-Lise & Lynn Nelsen; sister Leeanne Nelsen Christiansen; brother Lowel Nelsen; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, 3:00-6:00 p.m. at his brother’s home: 547 West 3850 North, Pleasant View, Utah 84414.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for you to share a memory of our Loren. He always loved a good story.
