Louis P. Camero Like A Million On March 6, 2012, after a courageous six year battle with cancer, Louie left this world surrounded by his family. When anyone asked him how he was, he always gave his standard answer, Like a Million , even through all his trials he remained as upbeat as possible. He was born February 19, 1926 in New York City to Andrew Michael and Jessie Camero. On April 17, 1944 he joined the US Marine Corp and was stationed at Cherry Point North Carolina where he met his gem , Ruby Virginia Turner. They married December 17, 1944 and just celebrated 67 years together. In 1946 they moved to NY and began a life together while he worked as a police officer. In 1960 they moved to Murray, Utah where he lived for most of the next 52 years. He left an impression where ever he went with his friendly personality and those exceptional baby blues. He leaves behind quite a legacy in his family which was his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; daughters: Sharon (Larry) Rasmussen, Stepheni (William) Kennon, Sandra (Danny) Saldivar and Susan (Eric) Skog; son, Andrew (Elizabeth Camero; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Genevieve and Louise; granddaughter, RandiLee. His family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff at the Veterans Administration Hospital for the outstanding care and concern they gave and showed Louie over the years. Louie loved his Beloved VA . Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 9-9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VA Hospice Fund in Memory of Louis P.
