Louise Brooks Newton

Nettie Louise Brooks Newton 1939 ~ 2013 Nettie Louise Brooks Newton returned to her loving Heavenly Father January 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 27, 1939 to Elliott and Mary Brooks, the oldest of five girls. She graduated from North Summit High School where she was a cheerleader, on the Seminary Board and in the marching band. Louise married J. Douglas Newton August 8, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have four children: Doug, JayDee, Dallas and Tena; five grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is preceded in death by sons Doug and JayDee, parents and sister, Donna Jenkins. The family would like to thank Cheryle, Corey, Libby and Rachelle for the wonderful care they gave Louise. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road with a viewing, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Hoytsville Cemetery, Hoytsville, Utah.
