Irene Louise (Stoker) North passed away April 25, 2021 of natural causes.
She was born December 6, 1936 to David Otto Stoker and Helene Victoria (Westlund) Stoker. She was known as ‘Nena’ to family, to friends and neighbors as ‘Louise’.
Louise was preceded in death by her son Mark Edmund North and is the mother of Janalee Varney, Heidi Bowles (Spouse Lynn Bowles), DeAnn Delobel (Spouse Roland Delobel), Kimberlee Jones (Spouse Scott Jones) and Amanda Utley, a grandmother of 15 and a great-grandma of 10.
Louise loved the little children, the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she reminded everyone that they are a Child of God. Over the years, she faithfully served as multiple times as Primary President, and was an avid genealogist. She served a full-time mission at the Genealogy Library for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A viewing will be held in her honor on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday April 30, 2021 from 9:00 am to 9:45 am, where funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Louise will be interred at the Taylorsville City Cemetery.
