Luetta Joy Watts 1936 ~ 2012 Luetta Joy Watts, a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, was reunited with her sweetheart of 57 years December 29, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah due to an overwhelming infection. She was born October 2, 1936 in Paul, Idaho, daughter of Newell and Kathryn Nielsen. Married Donald Myron Watts May 14, 1955. Lou was loving and caring to all those she knew. She enjoyed quick trips to Wendover, sporting events for grandkids, dance recitals, barbeques and vacations with her family and friends. She never missed a birthday card or sending a thank you note. She could make the most amazing pumpkin bread and we will all miss it. Survived by children: Jeffrey (Pennie) Watts, Daniel (Shari) Watts, Michele Kunz, Patrick (Sharece) Watts; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy (Steve) Holmes; brother, Larry Justesen. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Mike Nielsen. We all loved to spend time with her and thought she was amazing. We will forever cherish her memory in our hearts. Love and miss you, Gram. A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and a graveside held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Research Center.
