Luis Acevedo

Luis Manuel Acevedo, 69 years of age, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the loving arms of his Family at Home in Sandy, Utah. Luis was born April 1, 1953, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He then made his way to the United States to call Utah Home.

Luis was a loving and caring person, father, and grandfather. Luis enjoyed being with his

Children, and grandbabies, he was very passionate about food, his cars, cooking, and TV shows. He always enjoyed a good laugh.

Luis is survived by his children: son, Luis JR Acevedo; son, Thomas Acevedo; son, Frank

Acevedo; son, Sebastian Acevedo; Son, Demetrick Acevedo; Daughter, Izabel Acevedo; Step-Daughter, Michele Horsley; Step-Son, David Martinez; Step-Daughter, Melisa Martinez; Step-Son, Luciano Archuletta.

Viewing services will be held at 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at McDougal

Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 24, 2023, from 10am to 11:45am also at McDougal. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be offered to Demetrick Acevedo. The family would like to offer a heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone for sending their deepest sympathies and condolences.
