Luis "Mopi" Rodriguez Torres' greatest pride was his ability to provide for his wife and six children. He was committed to two beliefs. The first being a desire to find and cultivate a passion, with his being his love of reptiles, gardening, and Mexican history. His second belief was that hard work in your passion would bring you happiness and pride. Luis and his surviving wife, Elena Torres, created a home of unconditional love, that all could feel, that was based in humility, personal discovery, and determination. He is survived by a large family who all wish to commemorate him through being living testaments of his beliefs and imaginative personality. "Mopi" served an LDS mission in Seville, Spain, and continued to be an active member in the Spanish speaking Murray 2nd Ward. Luis and Elena Torres were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on July 9, 1983. "Mopi" worked at US Magnesium for 13 years as a lab technician. Gracias Mopi, por todo.
