Lydia Bennie Salazar Allen

On October 21, 2015, Lydia, our sweet loving sister, daughter, mother and wife left this world after a long and hard fought battle with diabetes. She was 65. She will be missed by all who knew her (our hearts are broken) but we know her pain and suffering is over and she is at peace. We will forever long for her broad smile and sweet spirit. Lydia always had a strong loving bond with her mother, little sister and brothers who dearly loved her. She also deeply loved her husband Cliff and two sons who preceded her in death. Lydia is survived by her husband, Clifford Allen; mother, Vera Bond; sister, Esther Harlow and her husband Danny; brothers Anthony Salazar and wife Carol, John Ray Salazar; nieces; nephews; and grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her two sons, Brandon and Ronnie. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home located at 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
