Lynda Lee Peart Sjoberg Rands our Grammy daughter of Richard Lee Peart (Christina) and Melba Hoffman, peacefully drifted from the physical pains of this life in her home on Monday, November 30, 2015. Grammy had endured pains beyond her threshold and had endured to the end to the best of her ability. We are comforted with the knowledge that through the atonement she is free of the earthly pains and burdens and will be worthily received in the arms of our loving Heavenly Father and joyfully reunited with family she has yearned to hold again. What joy it shall bring knowing she will be watching over us and her spirit will be with us always. Her three children; Kym (Brent) Sheets, Lisa (Russ) Evans, and Kent Sjoberg, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren will miss her dearly. Her spunk and personality brought a light to life that cannot be duplicated. She cherished her family and was so grateful for the special bonds she had with each one in their own unique way. She was most recently blessed with her cherished sweetie and husband, Duane Rands, who brought her joy beyond measure as well as an additional 8 children, 25 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. His unconditional love was such a blessing to her and will be an example of the pure love of Christ for generations to come. Her final moments here on this earth were filled with much joy, compassion, and best of all a worthy Chinese Checkers opponent. They loved cuddling on the back porch like young school kids. The Rands family accepted Lynda as their own with open arms and a kindness she truly admired. We are eternally grateful to have our lives enriched with their love and laughter. Mom persevered through every challenge placed before her with determination and resilience. While raising three young children she worked many jobs and attended school as she prepared to conquer the Internal Revenue Service world as an auditor and trainer. She excelled in this career choice and found great delight is teaching other agents how to be the "people's" auditor and they flourished because of her training and example. Grammy had several passions. Teaching various forms of art and watercolors, floral arranging and tending to her garden were dear to her but camping was the highlight of her life! Every year she anticipated getting everything ready and heading to Anderson's Cove at Pine View Reservoir. Sometimes she went to other destinations but nothing compared to Pine View. She was giddy over the idea of having her grand kids come with her and teaching them the ways of camping. She also loved having visitors! Showing off her skills for all of us to enjoy was a thrill for her! Many of her friends and family will remember fondly their time visiting her camp sites but above all, her grand kids will forever cherish the summers spent with her at the lake. A memorial service in honor of her life will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 15th Ward located at 1250 South Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. The families would like to thank Eric Sjoberg, with McDougal Funeral Home, and so many other family, friends, neighbors, and ward members who have helped us through the many difficult moments. In lieu of flowers, please brighten someone's day and privately "Pay It Forward" in your own personal way, monetary or otherwise, as she secretly did so often whenever she saw a need in anyone around her whether she knew them or not. Her final gesture of love was donating her eyeswhich saw her world in vibrant watercolors. Place of Birth:Randolph, UtahPlace of Death:Bountiful, Utah
