Lynette May Neff was born on August 3, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
On February 10, 1971 she married Donald Devon Neff in the Salt Lake Temple.
On April 5, 2022 she transitioned from this phase of life into the next where many of her family has gone ahead of her.
She is survived by her husband Donald; son Leonard "Leny" (Diana); 3 grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly and Dawn; 4 siblings Arlene Shannon, Daisy Jones, William Henry Jones (Vauna), Jim Jones (Dee); 1 soon to be great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
In death she was preceded by her parents William and Emma Jones, Edward Shannon (biological father); and siblings Thomas Shannon, Beatrice Carol Jones, Mary Cleverly, William Woodrow "Junior" Jones, Casey Jones and Jessie Getsinger.
Before getting married Lynette served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Later in life she became a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
On Wednesday, April 13, 2022 a viewing will be held from 6-8 P.M. at the Taylorsville 10th Ward building, located at 4950 South 1950 West, Taylorsville, Utah, where a viewing will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022, 10-10:45 A.M, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Midvale City Cemetery.
