Lynley Cox

Lynley Cox, age 48, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024, surrounded by members of her family. 

Lynley was born in Rochester, New York on August 29, 1975, to Michael and Leslie (Lee) Cox. The most important aspect in Lynley's life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She spent her time caring for others, including as a Registered Nurse, working with infants and young children at Primary Children's Hospital. She loved singing, reading, interior decorating, cooking, and creating floral arrangements. She persevered through years of health issues with a smile on her face. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lynley is survived by her father Michael Cox, her children Austin Muncey (and wife Ann), Logan Muncey, Abbilyn Muncey, Sadie Muncey, Shaelyn Muncey (and fiance Ayden Gibbons) and Brayden Muncey, as well as her two grandchildren, Aurora and Saoirse Muncey. She is also survived by her siblings Eileen Cox, Cecily Boateng (and husband Michael), Edith Wilson (and husband Drew), Trudy Cox, Timothy Cox (and wife Melissa), and Kanani Cox, along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 5156 W Clay Hollow Ave, West Jordan, Utah. Following the funeral services, the burial will be held at the West Jordan City Cemetery at 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan, Utah.
