Manuel Norman Varela

M. N. "Sonny" Varela, age 62, passed away May 4, 2015 from a massive coronary event. Born July 22, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Roxcie Ann Rodgers April 16, 1984. Retired from Chevron Oil refinery in 2000. Owned and operated Sonny's Detail shop and loved every minute of it. He will be missed by all of his family and customers. Survived by his wife, Roxcie; daughters Leanne and Angie; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; parents Alice and Manuel Varela; and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 11, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be, 2-2:45 p.m. prior to services. Nickname:"Sonny"
