Marcia W. Sharples Marcy Marcia Warner Sharples, of Spanish Fork, Utah, was born December 16, 1948 to Allen and Leona Youd Warner and passed away June 4, 2012. She is survived by her loving and ever faithful husband, Thomas Tom Sharples who she married October 16, 1981; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple; 2 sons, Evan and Conley (Andi); 2 daughters, Natalee (Brandon) and Alissa; 9 enjoyed and loved grandchildren; 3 wonderful brothers, David (Allene), Joel (Trina), Brent (Holly); a forever sister, Sherrylin (Larry). Preceded in death by her parents; and her baby sister, Lesa. She often enjoyed a good book and was involved with her friends in a book club. One of her favorite books was 'Traveling our Continent'. She loved to travel our country every chance she got with her husband in tow, and often with her sister, Sherylinn and husband. Gardening was one of her favorite pastimes and many much of her harvest was turned into delicious culinary bliss for her family and church friends to enjoy. She always made a great effort to plan enjoyable, jovial events. She was very involved in Relief Society and served often as a teacher in Primary and Sunday School. She is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School and attended Utah State University. She enjoyed a good hard day of work, always spoke highly of the people she worked with and was always concerned with their happiness and well being ~ truly a genuine, loving person. She will be greatly missed and remembered as one of the 'greats' . Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Park 6th Ward, 5233 South 3200 West. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
