We were all blessed to know Margaret Kathryn Moesser Newman. She was a wonderful lady, a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to entertain and share her many talents with loved ones. She was a wonderful homemaker. She gardened and canned, blessing so many with her lovely meals. Her cupcakes, fudge and culinary skills will be missed! Anything she made or hosted was special. Mom was born on February 19, 1927, in Granger, Utah, to Jesse Frederick Marlowe Moesser and Phyllis Kathryn Harman. She fell in love with Joseph Burton Newman and waited for him as he served our country for more than three years during WWII. They were married on May 1, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom exemplified service and love for family. She blessed her in-laws with love and care with meals as their health declined. She and her sister, Gay, cared for their mother in her later years. She was always there with a listening ear and laughed or shared tears with us. She loved her running Utes and golfing with her husband and sons and wasalways there to rally the underdog or be on our side. We will miss her wisdom and love. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her beloved husband of 63 years; and son-in-law, Gary Pedroza. She is survived by her sister, Gay Seastrand; children, J. Gregg (Diane), Kim, Hal (Carlos), Ann Pedroza, Jon (Lory); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
