Margaret, age 82, returned to her Heavenly Father July 7, 2017, releasing her from her battle with Alzheimer's and reuniting her with her husband and son. Margaret was born in Bradford, England on August 21, 1934 to Arthur and Mary Ann Kirk. She came to America in 1957. There she met Robert Sugden and they were married April 30, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and had five children. She loved to knit and crochet and frequently donated items to those in need. She loved teddy bears and finding new ones for her collection. She always appreciated fun and beautiful jewelry for herself and on others. She was a dedicated mother to all of her children. She supported her daughter Wendy through serving in the Special Needs Mutual for many years and Special Olympics. They even traveled to Ireland so Wendy could compete in the World Special Olympics. She was a kind and caring Grandmother who always had a warm hug and jars full of candy. She loved to tell stories of her childhood and share a happy laugh. She served an LDS mission in the Genealogy Library in Salt Lake. Until we meet again, we will remember to "CHOOSE THE RIGHT" & "RETURN TO CHRIST". Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Mary Ann; husband Bob; son Robert; and 7 of her 8 siblings. Leaves behind sister Anne Christensen; children: Debbie (Ron), David, Mathew (Karalynn), Wendy; 17 grandkids; 24 great-grandkids. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15th, 11:00 a.m. at Parkway 2nd Ward, at 3407 W. Lily Garden Lane (9625 S.). Viewings will be held Friday, July 14th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and prior to services at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
