Margie Fay Slade Krula

Margie was born May 26, 1940 in Salt Lake City, where she was raised by her loving parents, Victor and Fay Brady Slade. She passed away January 24, 2019.

During her lifetime, Margie was blessed with five beautiful children. She has enjoyed memorable times with all of her children and many grandchildren. She was able to spend many hours with the joy and light of her life, her first great-granddaughter Raelynn.

Margie enjoyed sewing and many hours were spent with her sister/best friend, Nancy, putting quilts together. She shared that talent with others by donating quilts to Primary Children’s Hospital as well as friends and family.

Throughout her lifetime, she loved to garden, growing her own vegetables and creating a beautiful flower garden.

Margie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed trying new recipes to share with family.

Margie was employed for 21 years at Wal-Mart. During that time, she earned the respect and love of all of her coworkers.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., at Willow Cove Clubhouse, 9300 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
