Mariam Robbins Faught passed away on March 18, 2017 in Taylorsville, Utah, surrounded by family. Mariam was born on Feburary 18, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lorenzo Wilson and Lillian Whatcott Robbins. Mariam grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended the Wilshire Ward where she met her eternal companion Bill. She studied art, enjoyed singing in choirs and going to church dances. On June 22, 1953, she married William Rinskinus Faught in the Salt Lake Temple. Mariam was the proud mother of four children, whom she dedicated her life to. While raising a family, Mariam also held numerous church callings and made weekly visits to the genealogical library at the Los Angeles Temple and later in Salt Lake City with her beloved sister Lillian. She was very passionate about doing genealogy and extraction work and serving in the temple with her husband Bill. Mariam was a kind and gentle woman of great faith who loved her Savior and served him all her life. She truly endured to the end. Mariam was a devoted wife to her husband for over 61 years and a loving and supportive mother until the day of her death. Preceded in death by her husband, William R. Faught; and granddaughter Julie Ann Faught. She is survived by her four children: Stephen (Shauna), Leslie (Jeff), Tatchio, David (Diana, Kathleen (Russ) Rowley; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, who will miss her greatly. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Bennion Heights Ward, 3555 West 5620 South, where a viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
