Marilyn Bowles

Marilyn Ruth Snow Bowles, 87, passed away peacefully in her West Valley City, Utah home on October 15, 2023.

Marilyn was born on December 12, 1935, to Roger Neff Snow and Edith Verna William Snow in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the oldest of three children.

Marilyn married the love of her life, Glenn Edward Bowles, on January 28, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later solemnized in the Logan Temple on February 12, 1963.

Marilyn loved getting her family together for the holidays, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving. She always put out a large spread. She was the best of cooks and loved baking. She loved Christmas, enjoyed going camping, doing Black Friday shopping, and going out to eat. She loved to crochet and crocheted many blankets.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband Glenn, and her son Todd.

Marilyn is survived by her children Linda (Roy), David (Mariana), Doug, Karen, Susan (Dennis). Marilyn has 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Utah on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 11 to noon followed by funeral services at McDougal Funeral Home from noon to 1 PM.

Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah at 1:30 PM.
