Our beloved wife and mother Marilyn Mae Rasmussen passed away from natural causes in the early morning of May 1st. She was born on December 13, 1945 to James and Ruth Wassom. She married her beloved husband, Dennis Gerald Rasmussen, with whom she had two sons, Mark and Steve. Mickey graduated from Granger High School in 1964. Her husband notwithstanding, she loved her children more than anything in the world. She was a very talented artist. Mickey worked for 18 years for Granite School District as a Special Education Assistant. Mickey's favorite past time was camping and fishing. Most importantly, she taught us all how to live and how to love unconditionally. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her two sons, Mark and Steve; her sister Judy; her daughters-in-law Pamela and Marci; and her grandchildren: Gig, Alexander, Kirklund, Taylor, Cole, Carter, Kye, and Jasen. She was met in heaven by her father, James; her mother, Ruth; her brother Don; her cousin JoAnn, and many others. Rest in peace, go with God, watch over us, we will love you always and forever. A memorial service will be held in Mickey's honor on Saturday, May 7th, 11:00 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville.
