He was a man of great character and touched the lives of many through his mentoring, teaching, and friendship. Mark's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Born to Wayne and Shirley Cole on March 24, 1958, Mark grew up with a strong foundation of love and support in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. From an early age, it was clear that he possessed a natural talent for guiding and inspiring others. This trait would become instrumental in shaping the lives of those he encountered throughout his lifetime.
After completing his education, Mark dedicated several years of his life to serving in the Marine Corps. His military service was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his country and his selflessness in protecting the freedoms we hold dear.
In addition to his military service, Mark found deep fulfillment in pursuing his hobbies and interests. He had a profound passion for writing and shared his creativity through various written works. Mark also enthusiastically coached soccer, imparting valuable skills and life lessons to countless young athletes.
While he achieved many remarkable things in life, Mark considered his role as a husband, father, and grandfather to be his proudest accomplishments. He cherished the love he shared with those who survive him: his wife Jayne Cannon Cole and their children: Tara (Jason) Matthews, Brian (Kari) Cole, Sean (Jamie) Nolan, Scott (Heather) Cole, Jeff (Niki) Nolan, Jordan (Amy) Bendixen, Kaila (Cory) Galli, Myah Nolan, and his adored nephew Matt (Debbie) Cole. His grandchildren Dylan, Meghan, Isabelle, Tori, Myah, Taya, James, Ryley, Ryan, Rowen, Andrew, Asa, Ethan, Sebastian, Annabell, Kaia, Siena, Hudson, and Henry were truly the light of this devoted family man's life. His dear uncle Richard Cole and aunt Bettye Knoerr will also hold his memory close to their hearts. Mark's sister-in-law Lois (Ladell) Taylor and DeOna Jones, along with his cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews, will fondly remember the special bond they shared.
Mark was preceded in death by Wayne and Shirley Cole who guided him through his early years, as well as Golda Cannon, his beloved mother-in-law, his cherished son, Logan Nolan, and his precious granddaughter, Hailey Nolan.
