Martha Trujillo

Our dear mother, Martha Cordelia Velasquez Trujillo, (born in Antonito, Colorado) sadly passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at age 77 from natural causes.

Martha was born on April 12, 1945 and is predeceased by her mother Francisquita C. Velasquez, her beloved husband Dr. Augustine Trujillo and son Brian Anthony Trujillo, also her brother Arthur Velasquez.

She is survived by her children, Augustine Christopher Trujillo, Melissa Ann Mondragon (Jason) and Ashly Eliyahu Thorn. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her 3 beloved sisters: Vickie, Benita and Sandra and their families.

Martha enjoyed singing, dancing, window shopping for hours out and about, soap operas, reality TV and game shows. She loved attending church services in person or by television. She was a strong yet quiet woman of great faith, prayer, and courage. She loved unconditionally. She was much loved and will be deeply missed.

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding in her honor. The viewing will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at McDougal Funeral Home on 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Services will be held the next day at St. Joseph's The Worker Catholic Church at 7405 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084 on Wednesday September 7th with Rosary starting at 10 am and Mass at 11 am.
