Marvin Mathews Bradshaw

Marvin departed this life unexpectedly at the age 72, at his home in Kearns Utah. He was born April 7, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to parents Wayne and Adola Bradshaw and was raised in Providence, Utah. He enlisted in the Marines at age 17 and was stationed in Hawaii. Marvin was a member of the NRA and the John Birch Society. Married Lyla Brady, July 1965. Their children are Alex Bradshaw (Julie), Andrea Bradshaw, Kathrine Bradshaw, Karen Bonnell (Harry), Kenneth Bradshaw, Val Bradshaw (Anya), Phillip Bradshaw, Elizabeth Price (Eddie), Irene Rogers (Charles), Jason Bradshaw. Children from additional marriages: mother Helen Putnam; Christine Bradshaw, Melinda May Bradshaw, mother Vicki; Laura Bradshaw, mother Joy; Joseph Levi Bradshaw. He is survived by, father Wayne B. Bradshaw; stepmother Betty Bradshaw; siblings, Susan Smith (Sid), Doyle Jones (Carolyn), Clancy Barkle (Debbie), Diane Clark (Rex), Coleen Corbridge, Marilyn Smith (Steve), Dean Bradshaw (Randy), David Bradshaw (Rebecca), Chris Bradshaw and James Bradshaw (Jeannie); children; 30 grandchildren; and 3great-grandchildren. Marvin was preceded in death by mother, Adola Barkle; stepfather Keith Barkle; infant sister Jane Bradshaw; sister-in-law Chrissi Barkle; brothers Fred Barkle (Brenda) and Paul Bradshaw (Laurie). Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church, 3760 West Rushton View Dr., South Jordan. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park 17111 S. Redwood Rd., Bluffdale.
