Mary E. Healy Cherished and Loved By All Mary Elizabeth Healy passed away at the age of 91 on April 17, 2012. Mary was born April 13, 1921 to Charles and Maggie Flynn in Dolton, South Dakota. She was a devout Irish Roman Catholic and an amazing cook and baker. She loved to make quilts for her children, grandchildren and other relatives. She was an avid reader, did the daily crossword puzzles and loved to chat with her friends and family. She married her loving husband, James Eugene Healy, June 16, 1950. She is survived by her five children: Stephen (Jackie) Healy, Henderson, NV; Richard Healy, Kearns; Tony (Janet) Healy, Taylorsville; William (Debbie) Healy, Kearns; Dolores Healy (Salt Lake); 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Betlejewski, San Diego, CA; Loretta Falor, Smithfield, UT; brothers, Lozelle Flynn, Sioux Falls, SD and Joe Flynn, El Cajon, CA. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Teresa Lu; brothers, LeRoy Flynn and LaVerne Flynn; sisters, Letha Juffer and Rita Sellers. The family would like to thank Legacy Village Memory Care, Taylorsville, UT for their loving care and support and the wonderful people of Hospice. A viewing will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012, 6-8 p.m. with a Holy Rosary and Eulogy at 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, UT. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 23, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour prior to services.
