Mary Jane Vosburg Cicon 1935 - 2013 Mary Jane Vosburg Cicon, age 78, of Moosic, PA, passed away June 9, 2013. After a long battle with Alzheimer s. She was blessed to be with family at her passing in Salt Lake City, UT. Mary Jane, known to her friends and family as Jane, will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Before her illness, Jane was a capable and talented artist, seamstress and crafter. As her children grew, she went back to school and got her Associates degree then continued exploring her interests at the Lackawanna Vo-Tech for Gourmet cooking and Woodworking. She also attended Art classes at Marywood College in Scranton, PA to enhance her already God given talent. She loved visiting her children and being a Grandmother. Before getting sick she was at the birth of most of her grandchildren. Since getting baptized in August of 1962, Jane was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She and John loved God, with faith that their union will extend beyond the grave. Knowing they are together now, as well as with other loved ones, who have passed, brings much comfort to those of us who miss her. Jane was born to John and Mary Vosburg on January 24, 1935. She was their twelfth of thirteen children; Dorothy Mae, John Henry, Carlyle William, Lucille Delaphine, Theodore Allen, Wellington Nelson, Catherine Anne, Myrtle Margaret, Curtis Steven, Madeline Patience, Delbert Bennett and Elmer Woodruff. Jane went to West Pittston Jr. Sr. High School and graduated in 1954. She married John Edward Cicon in New Milford, PA in 1956, they had nine children together; Jane Marie, John Edward, Jeanine Ester, James Eric, Joanne Elana, Jared Elmer, Jacqueline Ellen, Jesse Elijah, Joshua Edmund. They lived and raised their family in Moosic PA. They moved to West Jordan, UT in 2007. Jane and John s legacy continues to grow to include twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, John Edward; daughter; Jane Marie Cicon Smith. Visitation will be held, June 15, 2013, at the LDS Chapel located at 7265 South 2700 West, West Jordan, Utah 84084 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Interment at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, will be June 17, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at 17111 S. Camp Williams Road, Riverton, Utah.
