Mary S. Dodds

Mary S. Dodds, age 89, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, returned to our Father in Heaven on January 3, 2016. Mary was born to Ira Thomas and Christena Schow in Panguitch, Utah. She married Bob, her forever sweetheart, in 1947. She devoted her life to her husband and her family. She was a great homemaker and great friend to everyone she met. We will miss her loving and comforting ways, her great advice and her wonderful sense of humor. She always just knew the right thing to say and do. She is survived by her sister, Norma (Reid) Burrows; brother, Jim (Cleone) Schow; and children, Barbara (Gary) Pearce, Jillyn Riddle, and Kim (Rosemary) Dodds; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; daughter, Mary Ann; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kyle, Veda, and Grant. Rest in peace, Mom, and enjoy being reunited with Dad and your loved ones in heaven. We love you and will miss you so much. See you in our dreams. A viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, in Taylorsville. Interment - Redwood Memorial Estates.
