Maryland Virginia Dye Ingram

Maryland Virginia Dye Ingram passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, January 21, 2015. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the joy of her life. Maryland was born December 29, 1932 in Coal Fork, Calhoun County, West Virginia, daughter of Harold Glen and Estie Greathouse Dye. She graduated from Calhoun County High School in Grantsville, West Virginia and attended business college in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She married the love of her life, Chester H. Ingram Jr. September 20, 1953 in Grantsville, West Virginia. In 1962 they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with five children. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved doing genealogy and family history work. She was a wonderful cook and loved gardening and sewing and loved sharing her talents with her daughters and granddaughters. Maryland loved to travel, collect antiques and depression glassware. After 26 years of service, she retired as a supervisor from Beehive Clothing Mills in Salt Lake. Maryland is survived by her eternal companion, Chester; children: Bruce Ingram, Jennifer (Randall) Forbes, Stephanie (Kent) Wilkey, Marc Ingram; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings: Donald Dye, Keith (Wanda) Dye, Ruth Ellen (Harold) Bell. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Johnny Dye, Dennis (Midge) Dye and Donnie (Martha) Dye; son, Lesley Wayne Ingram. Viewings will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
