Matthew Christopher Bryant

November 17, 1983 — October 15, 2017

Matthew was one whose smile would warm your heart instantly and his laughter was incredibly contagious. Matthew loved many things, but above all his precious children Destynie, Preston and KayLee. You would watch him light up with joy every time he was with them and would talk about them constantly when he was away from them. Among the things he enjoyed doing like taking long hikes and camping outdoors, he loved to cook! His Uncle Bob helped him discover that love and taught him everything he knew about creating beautiful, mouth watering dishes. He was very proud of that accomplishment and would cook for you any chance that he had. Matthew was a very hard worker as well and was always willing to help where he could. He had a very sweet and loving spirit that always kept him striving to overcome his personal trials. He always had a great amount of hope. Matthew was taken from us way too soon and will be forever missed by his family and friends. We will cherish the days we had with him and will always hold him close to our hearts. Matthew is survived by his mother Sheila Rolfson; his fathers Mike Wilkey and Frank Rolfson; brothers Michael Bryant, TJ Wilkey, Dustin Wilkey, Joshua Wilkey; sisters Jazmyn Rolfson, Katlyn Rolfson, Jenilee Cooper; his daughters Destynie Bryant, Kaylee Bryant; his son Preston Bryant. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Allen Bryant; and his brother Jason Thomas Bryant. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 20th, 10:00 a.m., at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Place of Birth:Salt Lake City, UtahPlace of Death:West Jordan, Utah
